Most of the friends I've made here I met during a weekly LABA Happy Hour for spouses। LABA is the Latin American Business Association, where the Latin American students buy membership to participate in meetings and get to know other students from the same region.
Well, this year, the "First Lady" of LABA, Karina Marquez, has been doing a great job!! She organizes meetings, dinners, visit to museums for the SSOs, and when possible it is sponsored by LABA.
Anyway, we have a lot of fun together and I have the opportunity to speak my language
(Portuguese) + improve my Spanish!

The picnic was the first event organized by the club Parters@Stern. It was very pleasant and a great opportunity to get to know other couples from Stern.
Next year the Partners@Stern with its new board members will certainly keep up this great work. New events are being planned for you. Wait and see!
